Cecelia Adams

Cecelia Rae Adams, 32, of Herrick passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 in Pana Community Hospital. She was born October 30, 1992 in Springfield, daughter of Gary W. & Susan C. (VanUytven) Miller. Cecelia married Paul Adams on June 22, 2013 in the Herrick Christian Church and he survives.
Cecelia was a graduate of Ramsey High School and received an associate degree in ag business from Lake Land College. She enjoyed canning, gardening, cooking & baking and was the co-owner of Country Cakes. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ramsey. Cecelia was born a fighter. She was strong in her faith. Her son was her world.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Ron Adams at home; parents: Gary & Susan Miller, Ramsey, IL; siblings: Joshua (Kimberly) Miller, Ramsey, IL; Candida (William) Hayes, Ramsey, IL; RoseAnna (Sean) McDonald, Ramsey, IL; Isaiah (Ashley) Miller, Ramsey, IL; father & mother-in-law, Scott & Janet Adams; sister-in-law, Alicia (Andrew) Brookman, Pana, IL; grandparents-in-law, Norma Collins and Edwin & Joy Adams and many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services for Cecelia will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in First Baptist Church, Ramsey with Pastor Jeff Shouse officiating. Burial will be in Welch Cemetery, rural Ramsey. Visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Ramsey.
Memorials in Cecelia’s honor may be made to an education fund for her son, Ron Adams, that is set up at the Dieterich Bank and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
