Carolyn Gruen-Millsap

Carolyn Gruen-Millsap, 85, of Pana passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 in Pana Health & Rehab. She was born January 24, 1941 in Pana, IL, daughter of the late Leo “Popsy” & Leona “Mickey” (Weber) Kolesar.
Carolyn was retired secretary at Pana Junior High from 1959-1996. She was united in love to Stanley Millsap on October 15, 2000 in the United Church of Christ by Pastor Jeff Moore.
Carolyn is survived by the love of her life, Stanley Millsap; children: James (Tracy) Gruen, Decatur, IL and Janet (John) Downs, Pana, IL; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and brother, Leo "Butch" (Marsha) Kolesar, Pana, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Johnna Downs and siblings: Donald Kolesar & Judy Peitzmann.
Per Carolyn’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and private family services will be held.
