Carol Jodean Vaughn

Carol Jodean "Jody" Vaughn, 73, of Taylorville, IL died at 11:20 pm Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. She was born August 24, 1933 in Sullivan, IL the daughter of Richard Truman and Mary Kathryn Heiland Isaacs. Jody retired from St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville after 23 years of service.

Surviving are: her best friend: Ouida Camatti of Taylorville; Brothers: Richard Lee Isaacs of Mt. Zion, IL, Charles Eugene Isaacs and wife Carol of Broken Bow, OK, Donald Wayne Isaacs and wife Kay of Portland, TN and Jerry Lynn Isaacs and wife Linda of Sullivan, IL. Foster son: Frank Camatti and wife Jean of Nekoosa, WI; 3 foster grandchildren: Aaron Camatti and wife Hollie of Taylorville, Doug Camatti of Rochester, IL and Angela Camatti of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and three foster great grandchildren: Connor Camatti, Ali Camatti and Gianni Camatti. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2007 in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany, IL. There will be no visitation. McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
