Carl Bagley

Carl W. Bagley 85, of Decatur, IL passed away at 3:05 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2026, in his residence.

A graveside service to honor Carl’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County. Messages of condolence may be shared with the family at Calvertmemorial.com.

Carl was born September 24, 1940, in Decatur, IL the son of Jewel (Ragan) Bagley. Carl retired as an operator from A.E. Staley Company. He married Judith A Campbell on July 7, 1956. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2017. Carl loved to go fishing and traveling. He also enjoyed going to casinos to play Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker.

Surviving are his sons: Jeffrey Bagley (Amy) of Mt. Zion and Mark Bagley of Mt. Zion; a daughter; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his special friend: Cheryl.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers one sister, and one granddaughter.
