Callie J. Pollard-Broutin, 85, of Mt. Auburn,IL died at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 4, 2002 in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born August 1, 1916 in Christian County, IL, the daughter of J.C. and Cleo Zinn Morgan. Mrs. Broutin was a retired supervisor for the Secretary of State's office, a member of Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church and a Life Member of Shelbyville VFW Auxiliary Post 4829. She is survived by 2 sons, Ted Pollard and wife Joanne of Mt. Auburn, IL and Ronald J. Pollard and wife Judy of Shelbyville, IL; 1 daughter, Donna K. Requarth and husband Charles of Taylorville, IL. There are 7 Grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Ted Pollard and Leon Broutin and 3 brothers. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2002 in McClure Funeral Home with Rev. George Heineman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church.
