Bradley Casner

Bradley N. Casner, 63, of Herrick passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026 in his home. He was born October 23, 1962 in Vandalia, IL, son of Malcolm G. “Mac” & Barbara J. (Kolesar) Casner.
Brad was a general foreman, with over 40 years’ experience in construction, crane operating and iron working. He loved living a quiet country life. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his children & grandchildren. He also loved being able to help take care of his parents.
Brad is survived by his children: Adam B. (Leslie) Casner, Decatur, IL; Austin Casner, Pana, IL; Aric (Brianna) Casner, Pana, IL; Mallory (Matthew) Schmitz, Rochester, IL; McKayla Casner, Pana, IL; father, Malcolm “Mac” Casner, Pana, IL; grandchildren: Ella, Cale, Corbin, Addison, Kaidrix, Nora, Tess, Kennedy, Rhett, Logan & Laurel and siblings: Greg Casner, Herrick, IL; Randy (Brenda) Casner, Herrick, IL; Tim (Trina) Casner, Pana, IL; Rhonda (Scott) Gatons, Midlothian, TX and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Casner.
A memorial service for Brad will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Memorials in Bradley’s honor may be made to the donor’s choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
