Bonnie S. Witte

Bonnie S. Witte, 65, of Pontiac, passed away August 18, 2017 at 7:50 p.m. at her residence.

Her service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac with cremation rites to follow. Pastor Gretchen Stinebaugh will officiate.

Burial will be Friday, August 25, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Rowe Cemetery, rural Pontiac, IL.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born February 15, 1952 in Cheyenne, WY to Edward M. and Geneva Juanita (Tolbert) Lane. She married Jerry Witte on June 16, 2001 in Pontiac, IL. He survives in Pontiac.

Also surviving are her children, Cheri (Stan) Morris of Summersville, WV and Arthur "Marty" (Jacqui) Gardner of Fairbury, IL; step-daughter, Amy L. (Joe) Drobny of Chandler, AZ; brothers, Marty (Julie) Lane of Chenoa, IL and Mike (Trenna) Lane of Pontiac, IL; sisters, Sharon (Bill) Mortensen of Dwight, IL and Peggy (John) Gentes of Normal, IL; grandchildren, Katherine, Victoria, Kelsey, Christian, and Stephen; step-grandchildren, Daniel, Josh, and Joey; and her little puppy, Bree, who was always near to help comfort Bonnie through difficult times.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sisters, Ann Christensen, Patty Hilsabeck, Debbie Leigh, and Becky Telford.

Bonnie graduated from Pontiac Township High School. She had worked at Livingston Manor as an activity aid for many years then later managed the McDonalds restaurant in Pontiac.
