Beverly "Bev" Jean Weber Obituary (1955

Beverly "Bev" Jean Weber, 66, of Pana passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 in her home. She was born Beverly Jean Willey on May 3, 1955 in Shelbyville, IL, daughter of Florence (Rowley) Jones, who survives in Pana. She married Fred "Fritz" Arthur Weber on December 2, 1977 in Vandalia, IL. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2003. Fred was the love of Beverly's life, and they spent 32 years together until Fred passed. Beverly was raised in Pana, IL. As a young adult, Beverly enjoyed making macrame art, talking walks through the woods, and riding on the back of the Harley Davidson with Fritz. Fred and Beverly lived in the areas of Bingham, St. Peter, and Herrick for 13 years before returning to Pana. After Fred and Beverly returned to Pana with their 3 children together, Beverly became an active member of Pana First Church of the Nazarene. Later on, Beverly received her LPN nursing degree from Capital Area School of Practical Nursing in Springfield, IL, where she received an Award for Excellence in Geriatric Care. Beverly worked in different nursing homes throughout central Illinois and enjoyed taking care of her residents. Beverly visited England for the first time in 1996, and later again toured England, Scotland, and Wales in 2005 with her daughter. Beverly was interested in learning about her ancestors In Great Britain. Beverly also enjoyed going to see live music, gardening, and getting tattoos. In addition, Bev had a love for the ocean, hummingbirds, and crescent moons. Being around her children and grandchildren made Beverly so happy. Beverly was a wonderful mother to her children and loved being a "Mimi." Beverly is survived by her children: Fred Morgan (Jayme) Weber, Pana, IL; Arron Arthur Weber, Decatur, IL; Molly-Jean Elizabeth (Brad) Vits, Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Laney Weber, Ogden Vits & Astrid Vits and siblings: Brenda (Denny) Holt, Bill (Wendy) Willey, Barb (Roger) Leach, Betty (Mark) Ferrell, Paul (Kate) Willey, and Robyn Cloe. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Jim Michael officiating. Burial will be at Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Memorials in Beverly's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
