Bernardene G. Podeschi Obituary (1915 - 2005)

Bernardene G. Podeschi, 89, of Taylorville died at 3:50pm Friday, February 18, 2005, at Shelbyville Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 21, 1915 in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Becker Gottsacker. She Married Jack Burgess, in Atlanta GA, on August 10, 1954. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1972. She then married Paul Podeschi, in Springfield, on April 23, 1979. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1990. Mrs Podeschi worked as a registered nurse for several large corporations. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Taylorville and Women's Fellowship at First Baptist. Surviving are her sister, Rosemary (husband Ivory) Lonon of Morganton, NC; niece, Mary Beth (husband Jack) Davies of Taylorville; great-nieces: Jodi(husband Rocci) Ramono of Taylorville and Dana (husband Kirk) Hager of Palmer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, and two sisters.
