Arthur Robert “Bob” Ausili, Jr, 56, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Bloomington, IL, passed away on August 18, 2024 at his home. A memorial service will be held at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Surviving are his mother, Stephanie Weller, Bloomington; a son, Marshall Miller, Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Jason (Kelsey) Ausili, Lincoln, NE and Nicholas (Nikki) Williams, Chicago Heights; four sisters, Natalie (Theo Maldonado) Williams, Channahon, IL, Nina (Attilio) Sorensen, South Wilmington, IL, Angela (Robert) Bernales, Hanna City, IL and Megan Weller, Bloomington and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, and his step-father, Tom Williams. Bob was a United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed building and playing the guitar and was very knowledgeable about fine detail about technical aspects of an aircraft. Bob was a person of great depth, extremely compassionate and honest.
