Arlene F. Wymore

Arlene F. Wymore, 75, of Blue Mound, IL, formerly of Mattoon, IL passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022.
Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Blue Mound is assisting the family with arrangements.
Arlene was born on October 7, 1946 in Middlegrove, IL, the daughter of Walter and Florine (Morse) Anderson. She married Carl Oldfield then later married Ronald Wymore on October 17, 1964. Ronald preceded her in death on October 16, 1979. Arlene was a beautician in Tuscola, performed janitorial services in Mattoon and the University of Illinois and she owned the New Castle Inn in Mattoon. She enjoyed traveling, playing Pogo games, spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her beloved dogs, Bella and Missy.
Arlene is survived by her son: Ron Oldfield of Cadillac, MI; daughter: Mindy (Bill) Young of Blue Mound, IL; grandchildren: Megan (Mike) Denomme of Oxford, MI, Jacob Oldfield of Cadillac, MI, Rosemary (Collin) Lewis of Biloxi, MS and Ryan France of Blue Mound, IL; great grandchildren: Nora and Gwen Denomme, Rowan and Sara Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ronald Wymore, brothers: Walter Burl Anderson and Vernon Anderson, sister: Geraldine Taylor and her infant son: Donald Oldfield.
