Anna L. Smith Obituary (1930

Anna L. Smith, 93, of El Paso, IL passed away at 10:48 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Arc of El Paso, IL. Cremation rites were accorded, and a private family service will be held. Memorials may be given to the El Paso Ambulance Service. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in El Paso is in charge of arrangements. Anna was born August 2, 1930, in Lilly, IL the daughter of Jacob and Rosa Everhart Robbins. She married Lawrence Smith Jr. on October 28, 1950. He died November 3, 2012. Surviving are three children Richard (Julie) Smith of Roanoke, Connie Hanson of El Paso, and Steve Smith of Heyworth; 3 grandchildren, Jamie (Dan) Esser, Eva Shepard, and Will Parks; 5 step grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Ronald and one daughter Cynthia, one son-in-law Ronald, and 3 sisters. Anna was a cook at the Elms in El Paso for several years. She enjoyed playing games and cards, and spending time with her grandkids. The family would like to thank the staff at the Arc in El Paso for their special care.
