Ann Yoder

Ann Yoder, 77, of Bloomington, passed away at 9:25 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Heritage Health in Normal.Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington with Rev. Josh Erickson officiating. Burial will follow at North Danvers Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marie Yoder Scholarship Fund, c/o ISU Foundation, Campus Box 8000, Normal, Illinois 61790-8000 or to the charity of the donor"s choice.Ann was born November 15, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Harold G. and Virginia P. Marrs Jones. She married James W. Yoder on July 11, 1958. She is survived by three children, J. Stephen (Amy) Yoder of Normal, Nancy A. (Carl) Roth of St. Joseph and Michelle Y. (Don) Anderson of Fairfax Station, VA; five grandchildren, Sarah Yoder, Eric and Nate Roth and Jeff and Nicole Anderson; one brother, J. Michael (Jackie) Jones of Oklahoma City, OK and a sister-in-law, Kay (Gary) Thompson of Excelsior, MN.She was preceded in death by her parents.Ann attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association. She retired after many years from the dental office of Dr. Robert Novotny.Ann enjoyed history, art and literature, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
