Anita A. Rolinski Obituary (1939

TOLUCA- Anita Ann Rolinski (Vignali) passed away peacefully at 9:25 PM on January 24, 2024, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at a later date. Her memorial mass will be on Wednesday, January 31st ,2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Toluca, with visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Memorials can either be directed to the family for a memorial of their choice, or to Eastern Marshall County EMS, 210 N. Chestnut St., Wenona, IL 61377. Anita was born November 26, 1939, in Streator, a daughter to Dante and Agnes Grill Vignali. We are sure she came kicking & screaming into this world ready to love passionately, be exceedingly loyal, and feisty as hell. She married Charles A. “Chuck” Rolinski in Toluca on July 2, 1960. He preceded her in death in 2014. Anita loved her husband and missed him dearly. Anita partnered behind the scenes with Chuck working closely with him to support the IBCA; based on her contributions Anita was inducted to the IBCA Hall of Fame as a Friend of Basketball. She leaves behind a large loving, feisty family of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her 4 children: ToniMarie & Daniel Wudtke, Gina & Matt Pomatto, Lori Rolinski, Mike & Brenda Rolinski. 10 Grandchildren: Adam & Haley Capponi, Dylan & Nicole Wudtke, Chelsea & Adam Cieslak, Mason Wudtke & Sol Han, Grant Pomatto, Mathew Mecoli, Nicholas (Cassandra) Woodburn, Cody & Adrianna Rolinski, Britron & Amanda Rolinski, Courtney Rolinski 11 Great grandchildren: Bella, Amelia, Luella, Olivia, FloraLee, Jayden, Alice, Landen, Walker, Jordan & Valerie She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters, Mary Drager, and Margie Keitzman. Anita showered her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with love, hugs, giggles & gifts. Anita loved spending Christmas with her family with all the time spent and big celebrations held. Anita loved her garden, especially her yellow hydrangeas. She loved traveling, washing & waxing her Lincoln, and mushroom hunting with her husband and kids. She took great pride in her landscaping, flower and rock gardens and decorating her home. She loved to cook her chili, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter cookies, homemade beef stew, polenta and sumpanellis, passing those recipes down to her family. Some of her fondest memories were spent on vacation at Daytona Beach and Disney World with her husband, children, and grandchildren. We are positive Anita joined the love of her life (Coach Chuck Rolinski) when she transitioned from this world to the next. They had 54 years together and now they are finally together forever.
