Amber Fixsal-Binkley

Amber Lynn Fixsal-Binkley, 44, of Shelbyville, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 14, 1981, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Carl and Tammy (Alberts) Fixsal. She married Damery L. Binkley on October 3, 2025, in Taylorville.

Amber will be remembered for her love of animals. She never met a stray that she didn’t want to rescue. She was a member of N.A.

Amber is survived by her husband, Damery Binkley of Granite City; mother, Tammy (husband, Wayne) Mitchell of Morrisonville; siblings, Robert Coy, Blake Fixsal, Jacob Fixsal, Emilee Mitchell, Tabitha Mitchell, Andrew Helfrich and Aryonna Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Fixsal and one brother, Bryan Mitchell.

The family will host a memorial ceremony at a later date.
