Adam John Buckley

Adam John Buckley, 27, of Taylorville, IL died at 11:42 am Monday, December 29, 2008 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 10, 1981 in Springfield, IL the son of Tim Buckley and Rebecca L. Fowler Buckley. He was employed by the Breeze Courier in Taylorville. He was a member of Taylorville Christian Church, had been active in Boy Scouts with Troop 68, and loved helping other people. He married Tami Phillips and they were later divorced.

Surviving are his daughter: Taylynn Buckley age 5 of Taylorville and Son: Hayden Buckley age 4 also of Taylorville. Companion: Carrie Pearson of Taylorville; Father and Step-mother: Tim and Carol Buckley of Decatur; Mother and Step-father: Becky and Chuck Westerhouse of Taylorville; Brother: Matthew Buckley and wife Teresa of Springfield, IL; Paternal Grandmother: Margaret Eloise Buckley of Decatur, Paternal Grandfather: Richard Buckley of Decatur; Maternal Step-grandmother: Nita Westerhouse of DuQuoin, IL; Step-Brothers: Michael Westerhouse and wife Chrissy of Tamaroa, IL and Jared Rice of Taylorville; Step Sisters: Katie Westerhouse, Kimberly Westerhouse and Amanda Westerhouse all of Palm Coast, FL; Special Friend: Wilma Tolle of Taylorville and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: Paul and Zelma Fowler.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 2, 2009 at Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville with Dr. Lonnie Southern, Rev. Vicki Southern and Pastor Ellie Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of service in the church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
