Olga Moomey Obituary (1906 - 2002) - Taylorville, Illinois

Olga Moomey, 95, of Owaneco, IL died at 6:30 pm Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born November 28, 1906 in Tower Hill, Illinois, the daughter of John L. and Eva Ann Allison Waters. on September 14, 1929 she married Harold Moomey in Shelbyville, Illinois, and he preceded in death in November 1964. Mrs. Moomey was a member of the Owaneco United Methodist Church in Owaneco, IL; Nimble Thimble Quilters; Christian County Home Extension and A.T.A. Survivng are 3 sons: Dwaine Moomey and wife Faye of Moberly, Missouri; Virgil Moomey and wife Doris of Taylorville, Illinois and Ronald Moomey and wife Barbara of Owaneco, Illinois. Daughter: Janet Engeling and husband Charles of Morrisonville. 17 Grandchilddren; 38 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 Sons, Kenneth Moomey and one in infancy; 2 Grandsons, Kenneth and Mark Moomey; 1 brother Levert Waters and 1 sister Anna Nieman. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, July 13, 2002 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL with Rev. Diwan Tiwade officiating. Burial will be in Owaneco Cemetery, Owaneco, IL. Visitation will be from 5:0 pm - 8:00 pm Friday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Owaneco United Methodist Church
