Jack Richard Reniche, 87, of Normal, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Monday, May 02, 2016 at Heritage Health, Normal.A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Calvary Cemetery in Mattoon. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation.Jack was born February 19, 1929 in Kankakee, a son of Jesse and Florence Richard Reniche. He married Mary Margaret Timmons on February 20, 1954 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Mattoon. She preceded him in death in November of 2001.Surviving are his children, Christie Reniche, Theresa (Vern) Speicker and James Reniche, all of Normal; two grandchildren, Scott (Elizabeth) Speicker and Jennifer Speicker; one great-grandchild, Chance Speicker; two sisters, Florence Ignatowicz and Suzanne Reniche, both of Bourbonnais; one brother, Allen Reniche of California; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Roland; and three sisters, Jackie, Barbara and Dorine.Jack retired from the U.S. Air Force after twenty-one years of active duty service. He later worked at State Farm Insurance Companies until his retirement. Jack was an avid card player who enjoyed playing a variety of card games with his family and friends.He was a loving father and will be deeply missed.
