Holly Fowler Morris Obituary (1975 - 2017)

Holly Fowler Morris, 42, of Bloomington, died on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at her home. Her memorial service will be held at 12noon on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where visitation will be from 10a.m-12noon. Cremation rites have been accorded. She was born March 4, 1975 in Bloomington, daughter of Ronald E. and Theresa M. Hyre Fowler. She married Dushon A. Morris on February 21, 2001. Surviving are her husband, Dushon Sr, of Bloomington; her children, Dushon Morris Jr, Anthony E. Fowler, Alexis M. Fowler and Ainjill L. Morris, all of Bloomington and her parents, Ronald and Theresa Fowler of Bloomington. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Malia, Brysen Paisley Morris; one sister, Theresa L. Fitchorn, a niece, Taylor Sigler; nephews, Keegan and Maison Fitchorn; great-niece, Naomi Brown and great-nephew, Najuan Brown, a sister-in-law, Stephanie Morris, all of Normal and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Walter and Patricia Fowler; maternal grandparents, Allen and Lou Hyre; great-grandparents, Andrew and Anna Ditchen and Pat and Goldie Hyre. Holly is a 1993 graduate of Bloomington High School. After high school she worked at Schnucks Grocery Store and State Farm Insurance Company. She later became licensed to work in food service and was a cook at Eurest (Diamond Star), Illinois State University and Kids Club East, all in the Bloomington-Normal area. Hollys greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her friendly essence was reflected upon every soul she encountered.
