Edward Louis Levandoski Obituary (1927 - 2014)

Edward Louis Levandoski, 87.of Bloomington, died Monday evening, August 18, 2014 at his home. A private family graveside service will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington is assisting the family the final arrangements. He was born May 21, 1927 in Cumberland, Wisconsin. He married Kay D. Wert on August 30, 2013 and she survives in Bloomington. Also surviving in Chicago, Illinois are three children; and locally are two stepchildren, Tamara (Sherrill) Leslie and Michele Wert; and two step- grandchildren, John Miller and Savannah Leslie. He was preceded in death by his first wife; and a sister. Ed was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII. He was a longtime Pipefitter with Local 597 in Chicago prior to his retirement. Ed was also a member of the American Legion.
