Egerton Montgomery Dover II Obituary (1998

Egerton Montgomery Dover II, 20 of Bloomington passed away at 4:45 AM on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at his residence. There will be a funeral service for Egerton at 12 Noon on Monday December 10, 2018 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington. Pastor Brian Richardson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-12 at the Memorial Home. Egerton was born April 2, 1998 in Melrose Park, IL to Egerton and Rhonda Jones Dover. He is survived by his father Egerton (Sheena) Dover of Memphis, mother Rhonda (Stacy Trowbridge) Dover of Bloomington, maternal grandparents Ronald (Katie) Jones of Fairview Heights, IL, five sisters Tura Dover of Bloomington, Victoria Dover of Austin, Texas, and Kourtney, Kamryn and Chloe Dover all of Memphis. He is also survived by his uncles Stanley (Patsy) Bristol, Derick Dover, Marcus Jones, Kenneth Jones, aunts Winifred Dover, Vivyenne Daniels, Sharon Worrill, Karen (James) Thomas, Wendy Dover, Stacey (John) Both, Melanie (Dijon) Brittain, and numerous cousins who loved and cared for him deeply. Egerton was a 2016 University High School graduate where he was active. He ran on the track team, played football and played the Viola in the school orchestra. Currently he was enrolled at Heartland Community College and was working in Customer Service at Sprint in Bloomington where he had been for two years. Music was a great part of his life and had recently started working as a videographer for local rap artists. He will be missed dearly by all. Egerton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Hilton and Mary Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to Metcalf General Fund, which supports Thomas Metcalf School.
