Charlotte Victoria Grieder, 5 months, 9 days, Stanford, died at 5:28 p.m. Monday (Jan. 23, 2012) at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago.
Her service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rock Creek Bible Church, Congerville. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Rev. David Berry will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Children’s Memorial Hospital CICU, Chicago. Arrangements are being handled by Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home, Danvers.
She was born Aug. 14, 2011, in Peoria, daughter of Blake Evan and Brooke Victoria Brand Grieder.
She is survived by her parents, Blake and Brooke Grieder; brother, Clayton J. Grieder; paternal grandparents, Denny and Patty Grieder, Normal; maternal grandparents, Jack and Cyndee Brand, Stanford; paternal great-grandparents, Carl Grieder, Carlock, and Gurney St. Clair, Normal; and maternal great-grandparents, Scott and Rachel Brand, Stanford, and Loretta Phelps, Peru.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmothers, Shirley Grieder and Rosemary St. Clair, and maternal great-grandfather, Robert Phelps.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago; you will always be a part of our family. We would also like to thank family and friends for all the love and support you have shown us.
We are sorry for your loss. What a wonderful testimony of patience,love, and grace your family is to so many. May you have strenght in the days to come and know how many people are thinking of you, praying for you, and admiring your strenght and close family unit during such a trying experience.
